Inspired by various vintage apparatus which were the pre-cursor to cinema (Zoetropes, Flip-Books, Praxiniscopes, Phenakistoscopes, Kinestoscopes, Mutoscopes, Thaumatropes.........to name a few!) - our animation toys will deliver a real & novel distinction in the market. An array of designs are in the pipeline for cots, prams, walkers and role-play items.

The pictures / animation themselves can be anything. Currently, they provide sweet / funny short 'cartoons' but the tech can be used to help teach the alphabet, numbers, animals, colours etc.

The scope is infinite and each toy will be manual, so no need for batteries … just youthful energy : )

The toys encourage activity, help in the development of fine motor skills, cognitive learning, hand-to-eye co-ordination, understanding of cause & effect etc.

And there will be other fresh innovations; all with the intention of creating fun and intrigue - leading to learning.

Background
During my career, I have worked in film and tv production where typically we shot on 35mm film, before high res. video and digital. Perhaps that history of seeing one frame at a time was key.
Cut (or rather, slowww fade..!) to having young children. The children's pet hamster's wheel reminded me of a Zoetrope.
I set about creating my own versions of Zoetrope and the (now patented) rolling zoetrope-wheel was born.
Numerous iterations and tooo many years later I am proud to be finally at launch stage.
